Ella Mak is a freshman at UC Berkeley majoring in English and considering a double major or minor in Educational Sciences. As an aspiring English teacher, she is passionate about improving educational accessibility and promoting holistic, asset-based approaches to education and literacy that honor differing student experiences. As a member of the 2026 UC Berkeley LeaderShape delegation, Ella is excited to develop the skills needed to become a more empathetic, confident, and impactful leader! Outside of academics, Ella enjoys expressing herself through hip hop and open-style dance and loves exploring museums and new food spots!
