• Student Leadership Programs 
  • Delivers experiential learning opportunities that integrate leadership development, personal reflection, and peer mentorship to enhance student engagement, foster a strong sense of belonging, and offer multiple pathways to leadership.
  • Leadership opportunities include: Berkeley Student Leadership Academy, LeaderShape Institute, ACC Leadership Symposium
• Berkeley Career Engagement 
  • Prepares undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni to make informed decisions about their futures by providing comprehensive resources, programs, and counseling on career development, internships, employment, and graduate school
  • Leadership opportunities include: career counseling appointments, employer events, prepare for informational interviews, and more!
• ASUC Student Union 
  • Provides high-quality services and programs that foster experiential learning opportunities, enhance the student experience, and ensure a sustainable organization.
  • Leadership opportunities include events, creative opportunities, and employment positions.

Opportunities that focus on campus-wide advocacy, policy-making, and representing the student body. 

• Student Governance & Program Advising
  • The team’s work is informed by student’s voice and we respect student leaders as partners in decision-making. We support the student government’s mission to engage and advocate on behalf of all students as we collaborate to build transformative and experiential learning opportunities. 
  • Leadership Opportunities include: ASUC, Graduate Assembly, and Chartered Programs 
• Student Advocates Office (SAO)
  • A student-run office that assists students with issues regarding the University. These cases inform advocacy for changes in University policy that prioritize and protect students’ rights and general welfare.

Opportunities that allow students to manage groups centered around academic disciplines, hobbies, cultural identities, and more! 

• Organization Advising & Student Involvement Service (OASIS) 
  • The purpose is to help student organizations achieve their purpose while ensuring a positive campus impact and a healthy experience for members. Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) at Berkeley provide a sense of community and belonging for our campus community
  • Leadership Opportunities include: Join or start a registered student organization, apply to be a Peer Leadership Consultant (PLC) student staff position, and Organizational advising support 
• CalLink
  • Discover opportunities, find organizations, and event information

Opportunities dedicated to identity support, public service, community outreach, and social advocacy.

• Center for Support and Intervention 
  • Addresses prevention and intervention for harm and violence on campus and provides support to students experiencing or causing distress in the campus community. 
  • Leadership opportunities include: Peer educator with Bears That Care, Hazing Prevention Collaborative, and leadership roles with the Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP),  
• The bridges Multicultural Resource Center 
  • Strives to recruit underrepresented students of color into higher education at all levels, and are committed to providing resources to retain these students. 
  • Leadership opportunities include engagement with the seven Recruitment & Retention Centers: Black Recruitment & Retention Center (BRRC), Indigenous & Native Coalition Recruitment & Retention Center (INC), Middle EAster and North African Recruitment & Retention Center (MENARRC), Mixed Recruitment & Retention Center (MRRC), Pilipinx Academic Student Services (PASS), Raices Recruitment & Retention Center (Raices), Asian and Asian-American Recruitment & Retention Center (REACH!) 
• Queer Alliance Resource Center (QARC) 
  • Student-run organization that provides social, educational, and safe sex programming for the queer and trans community and their allies on campus.  
  • Leadership opportunities include: apply to be an intern/volunteer or a Board of Director member.
• Public Service Center 
  • Connect people through shared learning and collaborative action for social justice.
  • Leadership opportunities include: alternative breaks, internships, college corps, mentoring, service scholarships/fellowships, and work-study positions
• Student Environmental Resource Center (SERC) 
  • Cultivates a collaborative space to strengthen the collective effectiveness of the sustainability community and provides resources for students to actualize the vision of a more equitable, social just, and resilient future. 
  • Leadership opportunities include: The Green Initiative Fund, Zero Waste Coalition, Student Leadership Institute for Climate Resiliency (SLICR), and more!
• Fraternity & Sorority Life 
  • Provides direct advising to the CalGreeks community and supports individual members, officers, chapters, and councils in promoting the four CalGreeks pillars: Community, Leadership, Scholarship, and Service. 
  • Leadership opportunities include: joining a chapter, managing your chapter, risk management, and wellness.

Opportunities for students to guide, support, and mentor their fellow peers socially and academically.

• Residential Life 
  • Creates and supports programs and initiatives designed to emphasize the importance of community and academic development within our housing communities.
  • Leadership opportunities include: Live-In Hall Staff, Residential Tutor, Safety Ambassador, Residential Student Coordinator, Peer Review Board, Hall Association, Residence Hall Assembly (RHA), National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH), Administrative Clerk
• New Student Services 
  • Create and implement programs and publications designed for students to ease the transition into life at UC Berkeley.
